경기도와 경기문화재단이 7월 23일 오후 2시 과천시민회관 소극장에서 ‘찾아가는 DMZ-과천’을 개최했다. 지난 9일 연천 DMZ 피스브릭하우스에서 도민들의 호응 속에 진행된 첫 공연에 이어 두 번째다.

또한 전쟁과 분단, 평화에 관한 이야기를 한국(김민정)과 미국(폴 매튜스)의 스토리텔러와 재즈밴드(클랩 밴드)의 협업 공연으로 구성한 DMZ 그림책 콘서트 ‘미어캣의 모자’와 ‘왕이 되고 싶었던 호랑이’도 시민들을 만났다.

‘찾아가는 DMZ’는 2022 렛츠 디엠지(Let’s DMZ) 《DMZ 평화예술제》의 일환으로, 공연단이 도내 각 지역으로 직접 찾아가 비무장지대(DMZ)의 가치와 한반도 평화에 대한 공감대를 확산하는 사업이다.
