의왕시의회 한채훈 의원(더불어민주당, 고천·부곡·오전동)이 의왕시 관내 안정적인 생활쓰레기 수거정책 추진을 위해 계약기간 확대 등 다각적인 방안을 모색해야한다고 제안했다.
