과천시가 9월 독서의 달을 맞이해 과천시 정보과학도서관과 문원도서관에서 다채로운 행사를 진행한다.

과천시는 ‘책문화 축제’를 오는 9월 16일 정보과학도서관과 에어드리공원 일대에서 개최한다.

이번 ‘책문화 축제’에서는 야외에서 자유롭게 책을 읽을 수 있도록 행사장 주변에 도서 2,000여 종과 빈백소파 등을 비치한다. 또, ‘내가 그림책 주인공 가장무도회’를 진행해 참여자에게는 ‘이상한 과자가게 전천당 솜사탕 체험’의 기회를 제공한다. ‘인생네컷 포토부스’도 마련돼 도서관을 찾은 시민들이 특별한 추억을 남길 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

이밖에도 북콘서트, 강연, 그림책 공연, 그림책 놀이터와 매직버블쇼, 페이스페이팅 등 20여 가지의 프로그램을 선보인다.

문원도서관에서는 북토크와 강연, 다양한 체험프로그램 등이 진행된다. 인디밴드 ‘크라잉넛’의 공연과 함께하는 강연이 9월 12일 저녁 7시, 칸영화제 초청작 영화 ‘잠’의 유재선 감독 강연이 20일 저녁 7시, ‘알로하, 나의 엄마들’의 저자 이금이 작가의 북토크가 23일 14시에 각각 진행된다.

체험 프로그램으로는 자개그립톡과 키링 만들기, 비누만들기, 다육이 테라리움 만들기 등 다섯가지 프로그램이 진행된다.
