과천시가 9월 8일과 9일, 이틀간 과천시민회관 야외광장 일대에서 ‘변화하는 미래, 평생학습으로 온!’이라는 슬로건 아래 제13회 평생학습축제를 개최한다.

‘온’은 100이라는 의미를 가진 순우리말로, ‘변화하는 미래, 평생학습으로 온!’은 과천시의 100년, 100세 시대의 평생학습을 무한하게 주도해 나가자는 의미를 담고 있다.

이번 행사에는 관내 평생학습 기관 및 단체 36개 팀, 우수 평생학습 동아리 35개팀, 총 71개 팀이 참여해 9월 8일 오전 11시 과천시민회관 시계탑광장에서 열리는 개막식을 시작으로, 평생학습 프로그램을 통해 갈고 닦은 시민의 기량을 선보이는 작품 전시, 공연발표회 등과 평생학습 참여를 독려하는 동아리 홍보·체험 프로그램을 진행한다.

도자기, 클레이, 서예 등 789점의 작품 전시와 사물놀이, 국악, 한국무용, 패션쇼 등 25개 팀의 다채로운 공연이 선보이며, 탁본체험, 비즈공예, 수의사 체험 등 82개의 홍보⸱체험 프로그램도 진행될 예정이다.

작품전시관과 홍보⸱체험 부스는 8~9일 양일간 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 운영되며, 공연발표회는 8일 오후 1시 45분부터 3시 30분까지, 9일은 오후 1시 30분부터 오후 4시까지 진행된다.

8일과 9일 2층 오전 10시부터 오후 3시 30분에는 시민회관 2층 야외 원형무대에서 손 인형극, 마술쇼, 요들송 메들리 등으로 채워진 특별체험관 ‘별빛소극장’ 프로그램이 선보인다.
