과천시가 지난 9월 7일 시청 대강당에서 열린 ‘직원 소통의 날’ 행사에서 공공의 이익을 위해 창의성과 전문성을 바탕으로 적극적으로 업무를 처리한 공무원 8명을 선발해 표창을 수여했다.

이번에 선정된 적극 행정 우수 공무원과 그 사례는 △지역경제과 김태훈 주무관‧이미라 팀장(지식산업센터 분양피해 예방을 위한 가이드라인 제정 및 선제적 조치), △신도시조성과 서순석 주무관‧이남교 팀장(과천정보타운역 신설사업 지방재정투자심사 통과로 사업을 정상 궤도에 올리다), △지역경제과 홍선화 팀장‧지재현 과장(과천시 노력으로 일몰될 뻔한 ‘수도권 내 지식산업센터 취득세 감면’ 추가연장 국회 통과), △교통과 김민진 주무관‧조시내 팀장(자전거 이용 활성화로 자전거 타기 좋은 도시 조성) 등이다.

과천시는 규제개혁‧적극행정 문화 확산을 위해 매년 상‧하반기 적극행정 우수공무원을 선발하고 있으며, 선발된 공무원에게는 시장 표창과 함께 인사상 인센티브, 포상 휴가 등을 부여하고 있다.

과천시는 시민과 실무평가위원으로 구성된 적극행정 평가단을 통해 행정 사례별로 적극성, 창의성, 전문성 등 5개 평가지표에 대해 심사하여, 최종 4건의 우수사례를 선정하고 관련 수상자를 선발했다.

신계용 과천시장은 “적극행정 공무원에 대한 파격적 우대정책을 통해 모든 공직자가 공익 증진을 위해 적극적으로 업무를 추진할 수 있는 분위기를 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

At the ‘Employee Communication Day’ event held at the City Hall Auditorium on September 7, Gwacheon City selected and awarded commendations to eight public officials who actively handled their work based on creativity and expertise for the public interest.

In order to spread the culture of regulatory reform and active administration, Gwacheon City selects public officials with excellent active administration in the first and second half of each year, and provides the selected public officials with a mayoral commendation, personnel incentives, and reward vacations.

Gwacheon City reviewed five evaluation indicators, including proactiveness, creativity, and professionalism, for each administrative case through an active administration evaluation group composed of citizens and working-level evaluation committee members, and selected four final best cases and selected related winners.

Gwacheon Mayor Shin Gye-yong said, “We will create an atmosphere where all public officials can actively pursue their work to promote public interest through an unprecedented preferential policy for public officials.”
