안양과천교육지원청(교육장 이승희)이 지난 5월 8일, 안양시, 고용노동부 안양고용노동지청, 안양과천상공회의소, 관내 6개 직업계고, 관내 대학(성결대, 안양대, 대림대, 연성대)과 공동 주관으로 ‘2024 청년 및 직업계 고교생을 위한 청년안양정착 일자리박람회’(이하 박람회)를 안양아트센터에서 개최했다.

박람회에는 안양과천 직업계고등학교 재학생 170여 명, 롯데백화점(평촌점), 노무법인 벗, 삼신글로벌베큠㈜, ㈜한스제과 등 34개 기업과 취업 지원을 위한 유관기관들이 참여했다.

안양시 청년과 직업계 고교생의 취업을 위해 지난해에 이어 개최된 이번 박람회는 지역의 구인난 해소는 물론 직업계 고교 학생들이 함께 참여하여 취업을 위한 실질적인 준비를 할 수 있는 살아 움직이는 직업교육의 장이었다.

취업 정보 제공뿐 아니라 가상면접, 기업과 현장 맞춤형 1:1 면접이 이루어졌다. 학생들은 취업특강, 모의 면접, 이력서 사진 촬영, AR/VR 면접 체험, AI자소서 작성, 취준생 인생네컷, 퍼스널컬러진단, 크로마키 체험, MBTI 성격유형검사 등에 참여하며 취업을 위한 사전 준비의 기회를 가졌다.

이승희 교육장은 “이번 박람회를 통해 직업계고 학생들이 일자리 매칭과 취업 역량을 키울 수 있는 기회가 됐다”며, “앞으로도 지역기반 산학연계를 통한 취업 활성화를 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
