경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 지난 12월 7일부터 13일까지 올해 운영했던 교육연구회, 교사연구년, 신규교사 역량 강화, 학생 분리교육, 교사 창작자(크리에이터) 등 정책 성과를 짚어보고 2025년을 전망하기 위해 7일 초등등 ‘교육역량 집중 나눔 주간’을 운영한다. 경기도교육청은 12월 7일부터 디지털교과서 도입 대비 초‧중등, 행정직, 관계자 연수를 내년 2월까지 진행한다.

경기도교육청은 11일에는 도내 153개의 도 단위 교육연구회 및 250개의 디지털 교육연구회 소속 교원이 ‘경기교육연구 2024 페스타(FESTA)’를 개최한다.

임태희 교육감은 서울대 시흥캠퍼스에 개최하는 이번 행사에는참석해 700여 명의 일선 교사들과 함께 학교 현안에 대해 깊은 토론을 진행할 예정이다.

12일에는 그동안 추진했던 신규교사 역량 강화 정책을 진단하고 2025년부터 새롭게 펼칠 정책을 설명하는 자리를 마련한다. 신규교사의 직무 투입 전 역량 강화에 초점을 맞춘 각종 정책을 소개할 예정이다.

13일에는 경기도교육연수원(원장 심한수)과 함께 운영한 교사연구년제 학술대회 ‘꿈’을 진행한다. 190명의 연구년 실행 교사들은 지난 1년간 교육연구, 교육정책, 교육회복연구 영역에서 개인연구와 공동연구를 진행했다. 학술대회에서는 ‘학령기 부모교육 프로그램 개발’, ‘이주 배경 학생의 기초학력 향상’ 등 현장 중심 연구와 경기도교육청 중점 정책인 아이비(IB) 연구 결과 등 성과를 공유할 계획이다.

이날 경기도교육청 남부청사(아레나홀)에서는 특색사업으로 호응이 높았던 제1기 경기 교사 크리에이터(GT–CREATOR)가 교육용 자료(콘텐츠)의 가능성, 연수의 새로운 패러다임을 개척한 단기학습(마이크로 러닝) 등을 주제로 컨퍼런스를 개최한다.

이밖에도 참가 학생과 학부모로부터 98%의 만족도로 평가받은 ‘학생분리교육’도 집중 주간에 소개해 확산을 꾀한다.

경기도교육청은 디지털교과서 도입에 대비해 지난 12월 7일부터 초·중등 행정직원 등 관계자 연수를 내년 2월까지 진행함으로써 디지털 교육 시대에 필요한 교직원의 역량도 함께 높일 계획이다.

경기도교육청 이정현 교육역량정책과장은 “교육정책의 시작과 끝은 학교와 학생, 선생님”이라며 “교육역량의 정책 설계와 실행과정에 선생님들의 목소리를 반영해 학교 교육을 살찌우는 결과를 이끌어 내도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
