안양시청소년재단(이사장 최대호) 산하 동안청소년수련관(관장 이주) 소속 예술단 ‘동안주니어합창단’과 ‘청소년교향악단’이 지난 11월 30일 평촌아트홀에서 “청소년, 예술로 같이 놀자” 라는 테마로 공연을 개최했다.

이날 공연은 총 2부로 나뉘어 1부 동안주니어합창단 공연에서는 뮤지컬, 랩, 율동 등을 포함해 Butterfly 등 13곡의 다채로운 무대를 선보였고, 2부에서는 청소년교향악단이 Meditation From Thais를 시작으로 객원 보컬 등 협연자와 함께 11곡을 연주, 풍성한 내용을 선모였다.

동안주니어합창단은 2016년 창단돼 지역주민들이 동요와 합창에 관심을 높일 수 있도록 합창 정기연습과 재능기부 공연 활동을 진행하고 있다. 올해는 경기도청소년종합예술제 서양 부문에서 수상을 했다.

2000년 창단된 청소년교향악단은 동안청소년수련관을 대표하는 교향악단으로 정기연습과 자선공연을 통해 클래식에 대한 이해와 관심을 높이고 안양 지역 청소년들의 문화예술활동 활성화에 이바지 하고 있다.

이날 행사는 인터미션 중 공연장 로비에서 경기도 청소년 우수사업 공모 ‘같이 놀 Park’와 연계해 크리스마스 테마 만들기 체험부스 및 포토존을 운영해 약 700여명의 청소년 및 지역주민이 문화예술로 소통했다.

동안청소년수련관 관계자는 “이번 연합공연이 청소년들에게 자신의 재능을 마음껏 발휘하고 예술을 통해 소통하는 기회가 되었길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 청소년이 예술적 성장을 이어갈 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

Dong-an Youth Training Center, Youth Art Performance ‘Youth, Let’s Play Together with Art’ Held

The Dong-an Junior Choir and Youth Symphony Orchestra, art groups affiliated with the Dong-an Youth Training Center (Director Lee Joo) under the Anyang Youth Foundation (Chairman Choi Dae-ho), held a performance on November 30 at Pyeongchon Art Hall with the theme of “Youth, Let’s Play Together with Art.”

The performance was divided into two parts. In the first part, the Dong-an Junior Choir performed 13 diverse songs including Butterfly, including musicals, rap, and rhythmic movements. In the second part, the Youth Symphony Orchestra performed 11 songs, starting with Meditation From Thais, with guest vocalists and other collaborators, presenting a rich content.

An official from the Dong-an Youth Training Center said, “We hope that this joint performance will be an opportunity for youth to fully demonstrate their talents and communicate through art,” and added, “We will continue to spare no support so that youth can continue their artistic growth.”
