군포시 충청향우회 회장 이·취임식 겸 송년회가 지난 12월 7일 저녁 군포시청 대강당에서 열려 5대 김문섭 회장이 취임하고 4대 여원구 회장이 이임했다.

이날 5대 충청향우회 임원진으로 고용주·조민옥·김선교·임영아·이영이 부회장, 김동환·신명호 감사가 김문섭 회장과 함께 임기를 시작했다.

이날 행사는 1부 이·취임식, 2부 송년회로 나뉘어 진행됐다. 지석모 자문위원의 사회로 진행된 이·취임식은 향우회기 입장을 시작으로 시상식, 환영사, 이임사, 회장선출 경과보고, 회기 이양, 취임사, 격려사 축사, 신임 임원진 소개, 케이크커팅 등의 순서로 진행됐다.

김문섭 회장은 취임사에서 “역대 회장님들이 공적에 힘입어 3가지 목표를 갖고 봉사토록 하겠다”며, △향인들 간의 이타적 공진화 실현을 위한 회원업소 이용 생활화, △군포시 충청인 단합 위한 사업 적극 추진, △군포시 9만여 향인 정회원화를 위한 회원 증강을 활동 목표로 제시했다.

여원구 회장은 이임사에서 “김문섭 회장은 인격과 덕망을 겸비하고 미래에 대한 비전을 확고히 가진 분”이라며, “5대 김문섭 화장단의 출범은 새로운 향우회의역사요 시작이다. 전폭적인 지지와 성원을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

이재화 명예회장은 격려사에서 “김문섭 회장은 뒤에서 묵묵히 향우회 재건을 위해 노력해 주셨고, 새로운 도약을 위해 회장직을 수락해 주셨다”며, “전임 회장들이 이룩한 성과를 계승하고 더 발전하는 군포시 충청향우회가 되기를 기원한다”고 말했다.

이날 하은호 군포시장, 김귀근 군포시의회 의장, 최진학 국민의힘 군포시 당협위원장이 참석해 축사를 했고, 이진삼 충청향우회중앙회 총재는 축사와 함께 김문섭 회장에게 선임서(인준서)를 수여했다.

이날 시상식에서는 이성자 회원·가순복 총무가 충남도지사 표창, 신순남 회원·박종민 이사가 충북도지사 표창, 장정민 총무가 군포시장 표창, 임창범 이사가 군포시의회 의장 표창, 임완자·김병우 회원이 국회의원 표창, 김철환·김주택·김언진 회원이 충청향우회중앙회 총재 표창, 류용태·이현용·이인숙·이명렬·이찬표·김혁기 회원이 군포시 충청향우회 회장 표창을 각각 수상했다.
