군포시(시장 하은호)가 지난 2월 27일 청년공간 플라잉 다목적홀에서 ‘군포시 청년정책위원회 제1차 정기회의’를 개최해 ‘청년친화도시’ 조성을 위한 청년정책 5개 분야 47개 사업에 5년간 376억 원을 투입하기로 결정했다.

군포시는 ‘군포시 청년정책위원회 제1차 정기회의’를 열고, 제2차 군포시 청년정책 기본계획(2025~2029) 및 2025년 청년정책 시행계획을 확정했다.

군포시 청년정책위원회는 군포시 청년 기본 조례에 따라 청년정책 관련 주요 사항을 심의·의결하는 기구로 청년정책 전문가, 지역 청년, 관계 공무원 등 20명으로 구성됐다.

이 날 회의에는 위원장인 임대환 중앙청년지원센터장을 포함해 위원 12명이 참여해 청년의 미래가치에 투자하는 청년친화도시 실현을 기본목표로 청년들의 성장·자립·참여를 지원할 5개 분야 47개 사업에 대한 심도 있는 논의와 토론을 진행했다.

군포시 청년정책위원회는 분야별 주요사업으로 △참여·권리 분야 청년활동 지원사업 등 12개 사업 75억원 △일자리 분야 자격시험 응시료 지원 등 12개 사업 51억원 △주거 분야 전세보증금 반환보증 보험료 지원 등 6개 사업 38억원을 반영했다.

또 △교육·문화 분야 군포시 결혼장려 사업 등 8개 사업 27억원 △복지 분야 청년기본소득 등 9개 사업 185억원을 각각 기본계획에 책정햇다.

군포시는 이 중 39개 사업을 올해 시행계획에 반영해 추진해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

특히 올해에만 신규사업으로 △찾아가는 청년정책 설명회 △청년성장프로젝트 △청년 취준 올인원 패키지 △기업상생형 청년인턴 △청년 1인가구 지원사업 △맞춤형 생활교육 ‘청플 두드림’ 등 9개 사업을 추진할 예정이다.

군포시 윤종호 아동청소년과장은 “청년이 행복해야 도시의 미래가치도 생겨난다”며, “앞으로도 청년들의 다양한 목소리를 반영해 청년이 공감하는 청년친화도시 군포가 구현될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
