과천시가 행정안전부 주관 ‘2024년 공공데이터 제공 평가’에서 최고 등급인 ‘우수’를 달성했다고 밝혔다.
과천시는 공공데이터의 적기 제공, 오류 처리, 활용도, 데이터 품질 관리 등 여러 분야에서 고르게 우수한 성적을 거뒀다.
또한 과천시는 시민과 기업이 필요로 하는 공공데이터를 적극적으로 발굴하고, 교통과 재난 안전 분야에서 시민 체감형 데이터를 분석해 주요 현안 해결에 기여했다.
이번 평가는 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체 등 679개 기관을 대상으로 데이터기반 행정 전반에 대한 이행 수준을 점검하는 평가로, △공공데이터 개방·활용 △공공데이터 품질 △관리체계 등 3개 영역 10개 세부지표를 기준으로 진행됐다.
과천시는 앞서 행안부 주관 ‘데이터기반 행정 평가’에서도 전국 기초자치단체 평균 점수 63점을 크게 웃도는 97점을 획득, 우수기관으로 선정돼 2관왕을 달성했다.
신계용 과천시장은 “앞으로도 고품질의 공공데이터가 개방될 수 있도록 지속적인 품질 관리와 민간데이터와의 연계를 강화하겠다”라며 “시민들이 체감할 수 있는 맞춤형 공공서비스를 제공하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
