의왕시종합자원봉사센터(이사장 최동현)가 지난 2월 5일 센터 교육장에서 ‘2025년 자원봉사센터 사업설명회 및 간담회’를 개최해 △가족봉사단 운영 우수프로그램 공모 △신규봉사자 기본교육 △마을봉사단 운영 △의왕시자원봉사대학 6기 개강 △재난 재해 교육 △자매결연 도시 협력사업 등 연간 추진사업을 안내했다.

이날 자원봉사센터는 우수봉사자 표창, 의료비 감면 MOU 체결기관 안내, 종합건강검진·상해보험 혜택 등 자원봉사자들의 지지·인정 사업에 대해 참석자들이 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 설명하고 질의 및 응답하는 시간을 가졌다.

이날 행사에는 김성제 의왕시장과 자원봉사 단체 및 동아리 대표자 100여 명이 참석했다.

안종서 의왕시자원봉사센터센터장은 “지역 봉사의 현장에서 자원봉사들을 더욱 자주 뵙고, 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이는 자원봉사센터가 되도록 하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

김성제 의왕시장은 이날 축사에서 “자원봉사자들의 변함없는 헌신으로 우리시가 더욱 따뜻하게 변화하고 있다”며, “올 한 해도 자원봉사자의 도움의 손길이 필요한 곳곳에 온기를 전해 달라”고 당부했다.

Uiwang City Comprehensive Volunteer Center, ‘2025 Business Briefing Session and Discussion’ Held

Uiwang City Comprehensive Volunteer Center (Chairman Choi Dong-hyun) held the ‘2025 Volunteer Center Business Briefing Session and Discussion’ at the center’s training center on February 5th and introduced annual projects such as △ Family Volunteer Group Operation Excellent Program Contest △ Basic Training for New Volunteers △ Village Volunteer Group Operation △ Uiwang City Volunteer University 6th Session Opening △ Disaster Relief Education △ Sister City Cooperation Project.

On this day, the Volunteer Center explained and had a Q&A session to help attendees easily understand the support and recognition projects for volunteers, such as awards for excellent volunteers, information on institutions that have signed MOUs for medical expenses reduction, and comprehensive health checkups and accident insurance benefits.

The event was attended by Uiwang Mayor Kim Seong-je and approximately 100 representatives of volunteer groups and clubs.
