김성수 경기도의원(더불어민주당, 안양1)이 지난 3월 5일 경기도청 관계자들과 함께 도의회 안양상담소에서 겨울철 안전한 도로 환경 조성을 위한 도로 융설(열선) 시스템 설치 관련 정담회를 개최했다.

이날 정담회에서 김성수 의원은 “노인보호구역 확대를 위해 안양시 보사환경위원회 장명희 위원장과 협력해 관련 조례 제·개정을 검토하고, 안양시 전통시장 주변을 노인보호구역으로 지정할 수 있는 방안을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이날 정담회는 사업비 약 57억7,000만 원을 투입해 경기도 내 15곳에서 진행하는 겨울철 강설 및 도로 살얼음 발생 시 신속한 제설 대응과 대규모 교통사고 예방을 위한 융설시스템 설치 지원 사업 중 안양시 안양동, 박달동, 비산동 대상 사업에 대해 심도 있는 논의가 이루어졌다.

김성수 의원은 해당 사업이 도로 분야 재해 예방에 기여할 수 있도록 철저히 검토할 것을 강조하고, 안양시 내 어르신들이 자주 이용하는 전통시장 주변에 노인보호구역 확대 방안을 제안하며, 이를 통해 어르신들의 안전을 강화할 필요성을 피력했다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Assemblyman Kim Seong-soo Holds Discussion on Road Snow Melting System Installation

On March 5, Gyeonggi Provincial Assemblyman Kim Seong-soo (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang 1) held a discussion on road snow melting (heating) system installation to create a safe road environment in winter with Gyeonggi Provincial Government officials at the Anyang Counseling Center of the Provincial Assembly.

During the discussion, Assemblyman Kim Seong-soo stated, “In order to expand the senior citizen protection zone, I will work with Anyang City Health and Environment Committee Chairperson Jang Myeong-hee to review the enactment and revision of related ordinances and devise a plan to designate the area around Anyang City’s traditional market as a senior citizen protection zone.”

During the discussion, an in-depth discussion was held on the project targeting Anyang-dong, Bakdal-dong, and Bisan-dong in Anyang City, among the 15 locations in Gyeonggi Province that will be carrying out a project costing approximately KRW 5.77 billion to quickly respond to snowfall and black ice on roads in winter and to prevent large-scale traffic accidents.

Rep. Kim Seong-su emphasized the need for a thorough review to ensure that the project can contribute to preventing road accidents, and proposed a plan to expand the senior protection zone around traditional markets frequently visited by seniors in Anyang City, thereby emphasizing the need to strengthen the safety of seniors.
