경기도가 보건복지부가 주관한 2025년 아동학대 대응체계 평가에서 시도부문 최우수 지자체로 선정돼 보건복지부장관상을 수상했다.

경기도는 △아동학대 사각지대를 최소화하는 촘촘한 발굴 시스템, △전국 최초 광역 거점형 보호체계, △의료·심리·위탁을 연계한 통합 지원체계 등이 높은 평가를 받았다.

경기도는 최근 3년(2022~2024년) 동안 연평균 아동학대 신고 1만2,726건, 학대판단 7,529건으로 전국 최고 수준의 발견율을 보이고 있으며, 2024년 4분기부터 2025년 3분기까지 e아동행복지원사업 대상 아동, 고위험 아동, 출생 미신고 아동, 도 자체 발굴대상 아동 등 총 3만 6,111명을 직접 조사해 위기 여부를 확인하고 복지서비스와 연계했다.

Gyeonggi Province was selected as the best local government in the city/province category in the 2025 Child Abuse Response System Evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, receiving the Minister of Health and Welfare Award.

Gyeonggi Province received high praise for its: 1) a thorough identification system that minimizes blind spots in child abuse; 2) the nation's first wide-area protection system; and 3) an integrated support system that links medical, psychological, and referral services. Gyeonggi Province boasts the highest detection rate in the nation, with an average of 12,726 child abuse reports and 7,529 child abuse judgments annually over the past three years (2022-2024).
