경기도가 지난 2일 밤 국회 본회의에서 의결된 2026년도 예산안을 분석한 결과, 20조 8,923억 원의 국비를 확보한 것으로 나타났다고 밝혔다. 올해 19조 1,412억 원보다 1조 7,511억 원(9.1%) 늘어난 규모로 역대 최초로 20조 원을 돌파했다.

서민․사회적 약자 등을 지원하는 복지분야 예산이 전년 대비 1조 6,170억 원 증가하며 가장 큰 폭으로 확대됐다. 대표적인 사업에 ▲생계급여 1조 6,991억 원 ▲영유아보육료 1조 2,690억 원 ▲아동수당 7,653억 원 등이 있다.

철도·광역교통 등 주요 노선의 국비도 대폭 반영됐다. 대표적인 사업으로 ▲도봉산~옥정 광역철도 468억 원 ▲인덕원~동탄 복선전철 4,663억 원 ▲신안산선 복선전철 2,350억 원 ▲계양~강화 고속도로 3,131억 원 등이 있다.

김동연 경기도지사가 지속적으로 국비 증액 반영을 요청해 온 ’26년 직매립금지 시행 대비 소각시설 설치에 98억 원을 비롯해 광역버스 준공영제 131억 원, 안산 세월호 추모시설 지원 10억 원, 안산마음건강센터 의료장비 구입비 1억 5천만 원, 자연재해위험 개선지구 정비사업 10억 원, 교통약자의 이동권 보장을 위한 특별교통수단 운영비 6억 원, 국가어항 예비대상항 설계비 9억 원 등이 추가 반영됐다.

특히 용인 반도체클러스터 일반산단 공동구 구축을 위한 예산도 500억 원이 추가 확보되면서, 경기도가 반도체 산업의 글로벌 메카로 도약하는 데 뒷받침할 것으로 보인다.
