평촌경영고등학교(학교장 김풍환)는 경기도교육청과 경기도안양과천교육지원청에서 지원하는 ‘사회진출 역량개발’ 프로그램을 통해 학생들의 사회진출 준비를 지원하고 있다.

본 사업은 ▲자동차운전면허 취득 지원 ▲사회진출 역량개발을 위한 다양한 프로그램 운영 등 두 가지 영역으로 추진되고 있다.

자동차운전면허 취득 지원을 위해 학교는 인근 자동차 운전전문학원 두 곳과 10~11월간 계약을 체결하고, 졸업을 앞둔 3학년 학생 중 희망자 총 38명의 학생을 대상으로 학과 교육과 기능 교육을 지원했다. 신청한 학생 전원이 기간 내 교육을 모두 이수하여 학생 1인당 30만원의 지원금을 지원받았다.

자동차운전면허 취득 지원 외에도 다양한 사회진출 역량개발 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. ▲문화예술 체험 분야로는 도예, 전통 민화, 플로리스트, 미니어처, 핸즈 크라프트 등의 체험 프로그램, ▲자기 계발 분야로는 퍼스널 컬러 특강, 취업 면접 특강, 자기소개서 작성 특강, ▲자격증 취득 분야에는 컴퓨터활용능력 1급 자격증 취득 지원, ▲창의·융합 체험 분야로는 플라워&아로마 테라피 체험, 감성 음료 제조 체험, ‘나도 사장되기’ 창업 체험 등이 성황리에 운영 중이다. 이 프로그램들은 본교 3학년 학생이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 학생들의 호응도 좋다.

평촌경영고등학교 김풍환 교장은 “사회진출 역량개발 프로그램은 사회진출을 앞둔 특성화고등학교 3학년 학생들에게 좋은 기회라고 생각한다. 이 프로그램을 통해 졸업하기 전에 다양한 경험을 할 수 있기를 기대한다. 학교 입장에서도 학년말 교육과정 운영에 많은 도움이 된다. 특히 우리 학교는 매우 다양하고 흥미로운 프로그램을 개설하여 학생들의 만족도가 매우 높다”고 말했다.

Pyeongchon Business High School Successfully Operates "Civil Servant Development" Program

Pyeongchon Business High School (Principal Kim Poong-hwan) supports students' preparation for entering the workforce through the "Civil Servant Development" program, supported by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and the Anyang-Gwacheon Office of Education.

This program is comprised of two areas: ▲support for obtaining driver's licenses and ▲operating various programs to develop skills for entering the workforce.

To support driver's license acquisition, the school signed contracts with two nearby driving schools for October and November. A total of 38 third-year students who applied for the program received academic and technical training. All students who applied completed the program within the designated period and received a stipend of 300,000 won per student.
