신축 빌라나 연립주택을 공공이 매입한 후 비영리법인 등에 운영을 맡겨 지역주민들의 주거환경을 개선하는 새로운 주거복지 융합모델을 경기도가 선보인다. 경기도와 경기주택도시공사(GH)는 이런 내용을 담은 ‘GH Care Hub(케어 허브)’ 운영기관 공모를 2026년 2월 9일부터 12일까지 진행한다고 밝혔다.

‘GH Care Hub’란 비아파트 밀집지역에 위치한 신축 빌라나 연립주택을 경기주택도시공사가 매입한 후 공모를 통해 선정된 비영리법인, 공익법인, 사회적협동조합 등에 운영을 맡기는 사업이다. 선정된 운영기관은 자신들이 계획한 주제에 따라 입주자 모집을 할 수 있고 돌봄·육아·교육, 일자리·창업지원 등 차별화된 특화서비스를 제공하는 등 임대주택 임대 운영·관리부터 상가 및 커뮤니티 시설 운영·관리 등 관리 업무를 하게 된다.

사업 규모는 매입임대주택 158호, 근린시설 5호다. 모집 지역은 동두천시·의왕시·김포시·부천시 등이다. 예비심사, 본심사를 거쳐 3월 10일에 선정 결과를 발표한다. ‘GH Care Hub’에 참여하고 싶은 운영기관은 매입임대주택 내 근린생활시설 및 주민공동이용시설을 중심으로 돌봄·육아·교육, 일자리·창업지원, 장애인·자립지원 등 자유롭게 운영 주제를 제안해야 한다.
