경기도 의왕시가 위기가구 및 복지사각지대 발굴하기 위한 ‘희망알리미톡’ 채널을 연중 운영하고 있다고 9일 밝혔다.

의왕시‘희망알리미톡’은 경제적 어려움, 건강 문제, 돌봄 공백, 사회적 고립 등으로 지원이 필요한 위기가구를 발굴하고, 시민들에게 다양한 사회복지 정보를 안내하는 카카오톡 채널이다.

시민들은 주변의 도움이 필요한 가구에 대한 정보를 ‘의왕시 희망알리미톡’ 채널을 통해 제보할 수 있다. 제보가 접수되면 담당 사회복지사와 1:1 채팅을 통해 상담이 이뤄지고, 상담 내용을 바탕으로 복지 담당자가 현장을 방문, 위기가구에 다양한 복지 서비스를 연계한다.

이 과정에서 제보자에게 처리 결과가 안내되며, 제보자의 신원 정보는 철저히 보호된다. 채널을 구독하면 긴급복지 및 생활 지원 안내 등 다양한 정보도 받을 수 있다. 의왕시 ‘희망알리미톡’의 참여는 카카오톡에서 ‘의왕시 희망알리미톡’ 검색 후 채널 추가하면 된다.

시 관계자는 “시는 현재 ‘희망알리미톡’ 가입자를 1,400여 명 확보한 상태로 ‘희망알리미톡’은 주변 이웃을 살피고자 하는 시민들에게 중요한 소통의 통로로 자리 잡을 것”이라며 “마음 따뜻한 이들의 관심과 참여로 채널이 더욱 활성화되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
