안양시 인재육성재단(이사장 최대호)은 창립 15주년을 맞아 지난 1월 8일 재단 베네치아 중강당에서 임직원이 함께 참여하는 사회공헌활동을 진행했다고 12일 밝혔다.

이번 활동은 창립 기념행사를 대신해 지역사회 취약계층과 온정을 나누기 위해 마련됐다. 재단 전 임직원은 사회적기업과 연계한 제과 체험을 통해 수제 초코파이 100여 개를 직접 제작했다.

완성된 초코파이는 재단과 업무협약을 맺고 협력 관계를 이어오고 있는 부흥사회복지관에 기탁됐으며, 복지관을 통해 관내 홀몸 어르신 등 취약계층 가정에 전달됐다.

재단 측은 이번 활동이 단순한 물품 기부를 넘어 임직원이 직접 참여하는 체험형 봉사활동으로 진행됐다는 점에서 공공기관의 사회적 책임과 ESG 경영 가치를 현장에서 실천한 사례라고 설명했다.
