집수리 전문 봉사단체 사)사랑의집수리(이사장 우경식, 대표 박은경)와 한국캐피탈(대표 정상철)이 지역 에너지 취약계층을 위한 따뜻한 나눔을 실천했다.

사)사랑의집수리와 한국캐피탈은 지난 1월 14일 안양시 만안구 박달동 호현마을에서 ‘사랑의 연탄 나눔’ 봉사활동을 진행했다.

이날 봉사활동에는 사랑의집수리 우경식 이사장과 박은경 대표, 연탄나눔운동 정경표 집행위원장, 한국캐피탈 정상철 대표이사를 비롯한 임직원 등 총 40여 명이 참여했다. 봉사단은 겨울철 난방에 어려움을 겪고 있는 호현마을의 한 노인 부부 가정을 방문해 연탄 500장을 직접 전달하며 이웃의 겨울나기를 도왔다.

해당 가정은 연탄을 주된 난방 수단으로 사용하는 에너지 취약가구로, 매년 지역사회의 지속적인 도움이 필요한 상황이다. 봉사자들은 연탄을 나르며 이웃의 어려움에 공감하고, 현장에서 따뜻한 교감을 나눴다.

이와 함께 한국캐피탈은 사랑의집수리에 주거복지 지원을 위한 후원금 500만 원을 전달했다. 해당 기부금은 에너지 취약계층을 위한 연탄 지원과 안양지역 저소득 가정 아동의 공부방 조성 등 집수리 봉사활동에 사용될 예정이다.

정상철 한국캐피탈 대표이사는 “연탄에 담긴 온기가 추운 계절을 견디는 이웃들의 삶에 작은 위로가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 임직원들과 함께 지역사회에 실질적인 도움이 되는 사회공헌 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
