안양소방서(서장 김지한)는 시민의 재난 대응 능력 향상과 체험 중심 안전교육 강화를 위해 119안전체험관을 확대 운영한다고 밝혔다.

기존 안양소방서 119안전체험관에서는 소화기 안전체험, 연기미로 탈출체험, 교통 안전체험, 지진체험, 안전탈출체험, 심폐소생술 교육 등 화재를 비롯한 각종 재난 상황에 대비한 다양한 체험형 안전교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 체험객들은 실제 상황을 가정한 체험을 통해 위기 대응 능력과 올바른 안전 행동을 자연스럽게 익힐 수 있다.

이와 함께 안양소방서는 기존 운영중인 프로그램에 더해 소방공무원의 역할과 재난 현장 대응 과정을 직접 경험할 수 있는 진로체험 프로그램을 확대 운영할 계획이다. 또한 참여자가 본인의 사진을 활용해 교육받은 내용을 바탕으로 재난 상황을 구성하고 이를 영상으로 제작하는 AI 활용 소방안전 교육도 도입한다.

아울러 안양소방서의 역사적 자산인 소방망루 오르기 체험을 안전교육과 연계해 운영해 교육과 체험을 동시에 진행하여 과거와 현재의 소방 활동을 함께 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 계획이다. 특히 올해는 금화도감 설립 600년을 맞아 조선시대 화재 진압을 담당했던 ‘금화군(멸화군)’을 주제로 한 체험 프로그램을 운영하고, 참여자에게는 체험 인증서를 제공할 예정이다.

119안전체험관 체험 프로그램은 사전 예약제로 운영되며, 체험 신청은 ‘경기공유서비스’를 통해 가능하다. 개인과 단체 모두 신청할 수 있으나, 당일 교육 참여 인원이 총 6명 이상일 경우에 한해 교육이 진행된다. 소방망루 오르기 체험은 안전교육 과정에 포함된 프로그램으로, 현장 여건과 안전관리 기준에 따라 함께 운영된다.
