경기도의회(의장 김진경)가 5일 ‘제22회 한국지방자치학회 우수조례 시상식’에서 개인부문 대상과 단체부문 우수상 등 총 8건을 수상하며 전국 최고의 입법 역량을 입증했다.

이날 충북 청주시 한국보건복지인재원에서 한국지방자치학회 주관으로 열린 시상식에서 경기도의회는 개인부문에서 대상 1건, 최우수상 1건, 우수상 5건과 단체부문에서 우수상 1건 등 전국 32건의 수상 조례 중 8건을 차지하며 최다 수상의 영광을 차지했다.

이러한 성과는 특히 각종 토론회 개최를 통한 실효성 있는 정책개발, 주요 정책현안과 관련한 체계적인 의원 연구 활동지원 등 입법 전문성을 높이기 위한 다각적인 노력이 결실을 본 것으로 평가된다.

개인부문 대상은 김동규 의원(더민주·안산1)이 대표발의한 ‘경기도 외국인간병 제도의 운영 및 지원에 관한 조례’로, 초고령사회 진입에 따른 노인들의 병원 입원 및 돌봄 수요가 증가하고 있는 현실을 반영해 경기도 차원의 외국인간병 제도 운영에 관한 근거를 마련했다. 이에따라 경기도민 및 노인 복지 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

개인부문 최우수상은 ‘경기도 지역대학과 초·중·고등학교 간 상생발전에 관한 조례’를 발의한 김재균 의원(더민주·평택2)이 수상했다.

이어 개인부문 우수상에는 ‘경기도 김장문화 활성화 및 지원 조례’를 발의한 김미리 의원(개혁신당·남양주2), ‘경기도 지역사회 계속거주 도시공간 조성 지원 조례’를 발의한 유영일 의원(국민의힘·안양5), ‘경기도 딥페이크 대응 기술 개발 및 보급 지원 조례’를 발의한 윤충식 의원(국민의힘·포천1), ‘경기도 정책 유효성 검증 조례’를 발의한 이채명 의원(더민주·안양6), ‘경기도 유휴공간을 활용한 지역문화공간 조성 및 활성화 지원 조례’를 발의한 조미자 의원(더민주·남양주3)이 각각 수상했다.

단체부문 우수상에는 김선영 의원(더민주·비례)이 발의한 ‘경기도 소상공인 가치가게 지원 조례’가 수상의 영예를 안았다.

At the awards ceremony, hosted by the Korean Local Autonomy Association at the Korea Human Resources Development Institute in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, the Gyeonggi Provincial Council won the most awards, winning eight out of 32 ordinances nationwide: one Grand Prize, one Excellence Award, and five Excellence Awards in the Individual category, as well as one Excellence Award in the Group category.
