군포시의회 박상현 의원(국민의힘, 재궁동·오금동·수리동)이 국민의힘이 주최한 여성정책 공모전에서 1천여 건의 응모작 가운데 최고상인 ‘대상’을 수상했다.

박 의원은 지난 9일 서울 강서구 ASSA아트홀에서 열린 시상식에서 ‘내돈내사(내가 낸 세금으로 내가 사용할 포인트)–출산 여성을 위한 세금포인트 활용 확대’ 정책을 제안해 높은 평가를 받았다.

해당 정책은 국세 납부 과정에서 적립되는 ‘세금포인트’의 사용 범위를 출산 및 산후 회복 과정까지 확대하는 내용을 담고 있다. 출산용품 구매와 병원비, 약제비, 산후조리원 비용 등 실질적인 지출 항목에 활용할 수 있도록 제도를 개선하자는 취지다.

특히 별도의 재정 투입 없이 기존 제도의 활용도를 높이는 방식이라는 점에서 정책 실현 가능성과 효율성 측면에서 좋은 평가를 받은 것으로 전해졌다.

박 의원은 “출산을 앞둔 여성들이 가장 필요한 시기에 경제적 부담을 덜 수 있도록 제도 개선이 필요하다”며 “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 정책 발굴과 제도 개선에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

At the awards ceremony held at ASSA Art Hall in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 9th, Council Member Park received high praise for his proposal for the policy, "My Money, My Points (My Taxes, My Use of Points) – Expanding the Use of Tax Points for Postpartum Women."

This policy expands the use of "tax points," accumulated through national tax payments, to encompass childbirth and postpartum recovery.
