안양시 청년 복합문화공간 ‘안양청년1번가’가 개소 1주년을 맞아 지난 3일 기념행사를 개최했다.

이번 행사는 지난 1년간 공간 운영 성과를 공유하고 향후 운영 방향을 모색하기 위해 마련됐으며, 지역 청년 340여 명이 참여했다.

행사에서는 개소 1주년 기념식과 사업 성과 보고를 비롯해 청년 간 교류 프로그램이 진행됐다. 컵케이크와 책갈피 만들기, 디지털 캐리커처, 스탬프 챌린지 등 참여형 체험 프로그램도 운영됐으며, 안양청년1번가와 범계역 청년출구의 활동을 소개하는 아카이빙 전시도 함께 마련됐다.

총사업비 47억 원을 투입해 지난해 6월 조성된 안양청년1번가는 지하 1층~지상 3층, 연면적 756㎡ 규모로 다목적공간과 공유주방, 회의실, 댄스실, 야외테라스 등을 갖추고 청년들의 자기계발과 교육, 커뮤니티, 문화활동을 지원하고 있다.

지난 1년간 약 2만5천 명이 공간을 이용했으며, 이용자 105명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사에서는 응답자의 70% 이상이 프로그램 참여와 공간 대관 등을 통해 상시 이용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또 청년들이 기대하는 공간의 역할로는 '도전과 성장의 공간'(52.4%)과 '휴식과 안식의 공간'(47.6%)이 가장 높은 응답을 차지했다.
