사람이 빛나는 ‘창의문화 거점도시’ 군포시의 대야도서관 누리천문대가 다가오는 여름방학을 맞아 온 가족이 함께 우주의 신비를 체험할 수 있는 특별한 시간을 마련했다.

군포시는 오는 7월 25일 토요일 오후 7시부터 10시까지 군포시민을 대상으로 「여름방학 특별관측회」를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 특별관측회는 관내 청소년들이 가족과 함께 천문학을 쉽고 재미있게 접하며 밤하늘을 직접 관측하고, 우주에 대한 꿈과 호기심을 키울 수 있도록 기획됐다. 특히 이번 행사는 민선 9기 출범 이후 누리천문대에서 추진하는 첫 번째 천문 행사라는 점에서 더욱 뜻깊다. 시는 이번 기회를 통해 지역 내 과학문화 저변을 넓히고 시민들과 소통하는 창의적인 체험의 장을 만들겠다는 포부다.

행사는 초등학생 이상 자녀를 둔 군포시민 가족을 대상으로 진행된다. 참가를 희망하는 시민은 7월 21일 화요일 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 누리천문대 공식 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있다. 공정한 참여 기회를 제공하기 위해 신청자 중 추첨을 통해 총 40명을 최종 선정할 예정이다.

Gunpo City announced that it will hold a “Summer Vacation Special Observation Session” for Gunpo citizens on Saturday, July 25th from 7 PM to 10 PM.
