군포시가 아동학대 예방과 피해아동 보호 체계를 더욱 촘촘히 구축하기 위해 사회복지법인 굿네이버스와 손을 다시 맞잡았다.

시는 이달 말 군포시아동보호전문기관의 위탁 운영 기간이 종료됨에 따라 사회복지법인 굿네이버스와 기관 운영 및 관리를 위한 위·수탁 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

협약식에는 시 관계 공무원과 굿네이버스 관계자 등이 참석했으며, 기존 수탁기관인 굿네이버스가 앞으로도 기관 운영을 이어가게 됐다. 위탁 기간은 2026년 8월 1일부터 2031년 7월 31일까지 5년이다.

군포시아동보호전문기관은 지역 내 학대피해아동과 가족을 대상으로 상담과 심리치료, 교육 등 전문적인 보호 서비스를 제공하는 기관이다. 재학대 예방을 위한 사례관리와 아동학대 예방 교육, 시민 홍보 활동도 함께 수행하며 지역 아동보호 체계의 핵심 역할을 맡고 있다.

시는 굿네이버스가 그동안 기관을 운영하며 축적한 전문성과 아동권리 보호 역량을 높이 평가해 재위탁을 결정했다. 무엇보다 현재 진행 중인 사례관리가 중단 없이 이어질 수 있어 학대피해아동들이 보다 안정적인 환경에서 회복과 지원을 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
