경기도의회 안전행정위원회 김귀근 의원(더불어민주당, 군포4)이 제392회 임시회 업무보고를 시작으로 제12대 경기도의원으로서 본격적인 의정활동에 돌입했다.

김귀근 의원은 지난 21일 열린 안전행정위원회 회의에서 경기도 안전관리실과 남부·북부자치경찰위원회, 자치행정국, 인재개발원, 인권담당관으로부터 주요 업무계획과 현안을 보고받고 경기도 안전행정 전반을 점검했다.

이날 업무보고에서는 재난과 안전사고 예방·대응체계를 비롯해 도민 생활과 밀접한 자치경찰 정책, 경기도와 시·군 간 협력, 공직자 역량 강화, 도민 인권 보호 등 안전행정위원회 소관 주요 정책이 폭넓게 다뤄졌다.

김 의원은 특히 인공지능(AI)과 사물인터넷(IoT) 등을 활용한 스마트 재난관리 시스템이 실제 재난 현장의 대응시간 단축과 시·군 간 신속한 정보공유로 이어지고 있는지 집중 점검했다.

또한 국지성 호우와 도시침수, 폭염 등 재난 양상이 다양해지는 상황에서 취약시설 관리와 실시간 통제·지원체계를 지속적으로 보완해 재난 대응 역량을 높여야 한다고 강조했다.

제8대·제9대 군포시의원을 지낸 김귀근 의원은 제9대 군포시의회 후반기 의장을 역임한 뒤 제12대 경기도의회에 입성했다. 기초의회에서 쌓은 의정 경험을 바탕으로 지역 현장의 목소리를 경기도 정책과 예산에 충실히 반영한다는 방침이다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly Member Kim Gwi-geun (Democratic Party of Korea, Gunpo 4), of the Safety and Administration Committee, has officially commenced his legislative activities as a member of the 12th Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, beginning with the work report at the 392nd Extraordinary Session.

During the Safety and Administration Committee meeting held on the 21st, Assembly Member Kim received reports on major work plans and pending issues from the Gyeonggi Provincial Safety Management Office, the Southern and Northern Autonomous Police Commissions, the Bureau of Autonomous Administration, the Human Resources Development Institute, and the Human Rights Officer, and reviewed the overall safety and administration of Gyeonggi Province.
