과천시가 모든 동 행정복지센터에 맞춤형복지팀과 통합돌봄 전담 간호직을 배치하며 지역 중심의 복지·건강 통합관리 체계를 구축했다.

시는 지난 3월 통합돌봄 제도 본격 시행에 맞춰 전 동 행정복지센터에 기본형 맞춤형복지팀 신설을 완료하고 사회복지직 팀장과 간호직 공무원을 배치했다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 개편은 기존 일부 동 중심의 권역형 복지체계에서 벗어나 주민들이 거주지 가까이에서 보다 신속하게 복지서비스를 받을 수 있도록 전달체계를 동 단위로 확대하는 데 초점이 맞춰졌다.

각 동 맞춤형복지팀에는 사회복지직 팀장이 배치돼 복지 사각지대 발굴부터 상담, 복지자원 연계까지 통합적으로 관리한다. 여기에 65세 이상 어르신과 중증장애인을 대상으로 건강관리를 담당하는 간호직 공무원도 배치했다.

간호직 공무원은 대상 가정을 직접 방문해 건강 상태를 확인하고, 추가적인 의료·건강 지원이 필요한 경우 보건소와 지역 의료기관 등과 연계하는 ‘찾아가는 건강 울타리’ 역할을 맡는다. 복지와 건강 서비스를 현장에서 연결해 돌봄이 필요한 주민이 익숙한 지역사회와 가정에서 생활할 수 있도록 지원한다는 구상이다.
