과천시 기업 수가 최근 5년 사이 2배 이상 증가한 가운데 지식정보타운 입주기업의 매출과 고용, 혁신역량도 다른 지역 기업보다 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 과천시는 지식정보타운을 기반으로 인공지능 전환(AX) 산업 생태계를 도시 전역으로 확대한다는 구상이다.
