안양산업진흥원(이사장 최대호)이 지난 17일 오후 4시 30분 평촌학원가 일대에서 관내 기업인 및 임직원 70여 명과 함께 ‘청소년 도박 중독 및 5대 폭력 예방 캠페인’을 펼쳤다.

이번 캠페인은 청소년 도박 중독의 위험성을 알리고 5대 폭력 예방을 통해 서로 존중하는 지역사회를 조성하기 위해 마련됐다.

참가자들은 평촌학원가 중심거리에서 홍보물을 배부하며 청소년과 시민들에게 도박·마약 중독의 위험성과 예방의 중요성을 알렸다.

조광희 안양산업진흥원장은 “최근 도박과 마약 등 유해 환경이 청소년들의 일상에 깊숙이 침투하고 있다”며 “청소년들이 도박과 마약, 폭력으로부터 안전한 환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 것은 지역사회 모두의 책무”라고 말했다.

이어 “앞으로도 기업인들과 함께 ESG 경영과 사회공헌활동을 통해 지역사회 문제 해결에 힘쓰고, 청소년을 위한 건강한 문화 조성에 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
