안양시공익활동지원센터의 공익활동네트워크 ‘공익넷’을 통해 만난 민간단체들이 자원순환과 취약계층 자립을 위한 협력에 나섰다.

(사)유쾌한공동체와 (사)대한의류수선리폼협회는 지난 22일 업무협약을 체결하고 취약계층 일자리와 자립 지원, 폐의류 자원순환 등에 협력하기로 했다.

유쾌한공동체는 노숙인과 취약계층의 자활을 지원하기 위해 시민과 기업 등으로부터 의류와 생활용품을 기부받아 판매하는 ‘리본가게(RE STORE)’ 운영을 준비하고 있다. 기부 물품의 재사용을 통해 자원순환과 취약계층의 자립을 연계하는 사업이다.

대한의류수선리폼협회는 의류 수선·리폼과 재활용 분야의 전문성을 활용해 의류 재활용과 자원순환 활동을 이어가고 있다.

협약에 따라 협회는 수선·리폼 기술과 직무교육 등을 지원하고, 유쾌한공동체는 취약계층 참여자를 발굴해 상담과 일자리 연계를 담당한다. 양 기관은 이 밖에도 폐의류 자원순환, 교육·전문성 교류, 지역사회 자원 및 네트워크 연계 등에 협력할 예정이다.

이번 협약은 서로 다른 분야에서 활동해온 민간단체가 공익넷을 통해 만나 공동의 과제를 발견하고 실제 협력사업으로 발전시켰다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

공익넷은 안양시공익활동지원센터가 운영하는 네트워크 사업으로, 시민과 활동가·단체가 관심 분야를 중심으로 정보를 공유하고 각자의 자원과 활동을 연결하는 방식으로 운영된다.

센터 관계자는 “서로 다른 현장에서 활동하던 두 단체가 공익넷을 통해 만나 전문성과 자원을 연결한 사례”라며 “시민과 단체 간 연결이 구체적인 지역의 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Civil society organizations that met through ‘Gongik-Net’—a public interest activity network managed by the Anyang City Public Interest Activity Support Center—have launched a collaborative effort focused on resource circulation and fostering self-reliance among vulnerable populations.

On the 22nd, ‘Cheerful Community’ and the ‘Korea Clothing Repair & Reform Association’ signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate on creating jobs and supporting self-reliance for vulnerable groups, as well as promoting the resource circulation of discarded clothing.

Cheerful Community is preparing to launch ‘RE STORE,’ a shop that sells donated clothing and household goods from citizens and businesses to support the self-reliance of the homeless and vulnerable populations.
