과천시가 2027년도 생활임금을 올해보다 450원 오른 시급 1만2,540원으로 확정했다.

이는 2026년 생활임금 1만2,090원보다 3.7% 인상된 금액으로, 2027년 최저임금 1만700원보다 1,840원 높다. 주 40시간, 월 209시간 기준 월급으로 환산하면 262만860원이다.

생활임금위원회는 최저임금 인상률과 물가상승률, 적정 임금 수준, 시 재정 여건 등을 종합적으로 검토해 이같이 결정했다.

내년도 생활임금은 과천시와 시 출자·출연기관 소속 노동자 203명에게 적용된다. 과천시는 2016년 생활임금 제도를 도입한 이후 매년 경제 여건 등을 반영해 금액을 결정하고 있다.

This represents a 3.7% rise from the 2026 living wage of 12,090 won and is 1,840 won higher than the 2027 minimum wage of 10,700 won. Based on a standard 40-hour workweek (209 hours per month), the monthly wage amounts to 2,620,860 won.
