삼성전자가 경기경제자유구역 평택 포승(BIX)지구에 5천억 원을 투자해 첨단 자동화 물류센터를 조성한다.

경기경제자유구역청과 평택시, 삼성전자는 29일 경기경제청에서 ‘삼성전자 CDC 물류센터 투자협약’을 체결했다.

삼성전자는 포승지구 물류시설용지 약 11만㎡에 가전제품의 입·출고와 보관, 분류, 배송 등을 통합 관리하는 중앙물류센터(CDC)를 건립한다. 지난해 3월 착공했으며, 내년 6월 준공을 목표로 공사가 진행 중이다. 센터가 가동되면 약 300명의 고용이 예상된다.

Samsung Electronics is investing 500 billion won to construct a state-of-the-art automated logistics center in the Pyeongtaek Poseung (BIX) district of the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone.
