안양시 건축과 황성주 건축구조보좌관이 건설안전기술사에 이어 산업안전지도사 자격까지 취득했다.

안양시는 황 보좌관이 제16회 산업안전지도사 자격시험에 최종 합격했다고 30일 밝혔다. 지난 5월 건설안전기술사를 취득한 데 이어 올해 안전 분야 국가전문자격 2개를 잇달아 취득한 것이다.

산업안전지도사는 건설현장의 산업재해 예방을 위한 안전관리와 기술지도 등을 수행하는 국가전문자격이다. 안양시 공무원 가운데 건설안전기술사와 산업안전지도사 자격을 모두 취득한 것은 이번이 처음이다.

시는 황 보좌관의 전문성을 활용해 지역건축안전센터를 중심으로 공공·민간 건설현장의 위험요인을 점검하고 중대재해 예방 활동을 강화할 계획이다.

황 보좌관은 1992년 건축시공기술사를 취득한 뒤 건설 분야에서 35년여간 현장 경험을 쌓았으며, 2022년부터 안양시 건축구조보좌관으로 근무하고 있다.

황 보좌관은 “건축구조와 건설안전 분야의 경험과 전문성을 바탕으로 관내 건설현장의 안전관리 수준을 높이고 시민 안전 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Architectural Structural Advisor Hwang Seong-ju Secures Two Safety-Related Certifications This Year

Hwang Seong-ju, an architectural structural advisor in Anyang City’s Architecture Division, has obtained the Industrial Safety Consultant certification, following his earlier achievement of the Construction Safety Professional Engineer qualification.

On the 30th, Anyang City announced that Advisor Hwang had passed the 16th Industrial Safety Consultant certification exam. This marks the second national professional certification in the safety field he has secured this year, following his acquisition of the Construction Safety Professional Engineer qualification last May.

The Industrial Safety Consultant is a national professional certification for experts who perform safety management and provide technical guidance to prevent industrial accidents at construction sites. Hwang is the first Anyang City official to hold both the Construction Safety Professional Engineer and Industrial Safety Consultant certifications.

Leveraging Advisor Hwang’s expertise, the city plans to inspect risk factors at public and private construction sites—centered around the Regional Architectural Safety Center—and strengthen efforts to prevent serious accidents.

Advisor Hwang obtained the Professional Engineer Construction Practice certification in 1992 and has accumulated approximately 35 years of field experience in the construction industry; he has been serving as an architectural structural advisor for Anyang City since 2022.

"Based on my experience and expertise in architectural structures and construction safety, I will do my utmost to elevate safety management standards at local construction sites and ensure the safety of our citizens," Hwang said.
