의왕시의회가 9월 30일 백운밸리 종합병원 설립 부지 등 관내 주요 사업장 7곳을 방문해 사업 추진 상황과 안전관리 실태를 점검했다.

의원 7명 전원이 참석한 이번 현장점검은 10월 제1차 정례회와 행정사무감사를 앞두고 사업별 진행 상황과 현장 애로사항을 파악하기 위해 마련됐다.

점검 대상은 백운밸리 종합병원 설립 부지, 청계IC 수원방향 신설 공사, 학의로~안양판교로 연결도로, 미래교육센터·부곡커뮤니티센터·문화예술회관 건립 공사, 고천지구 급경사지 붕괴위험지역 정비 공사 등이다.

의원들은 관계자로부터 추진 현황을 보고받고 공사 지연 해소와 안전사고 예방, 예산 집행의 적정성 확보를 당부했다.

의왕시의회 제1차 정례회는 10월 14일부터 11월 5일까지 23일간 열리며, 행정사무감사와 시정질문, 주요업무계획 청취 등을 진행할 예정이다.

On September 30, the Uiwang City Council visited seven major project sites within the city—including the proposed site for the Baegun Valley General Hospital—to inspect project progress and safety management conditions.

All seven council members participated in the on-site inspections, which were organized to assess the status of each project and identify on-site challenges ahead of the first regular session and administrative audit scheduled for October.

The sites inspected included the Baegun Valley General Hospital construction site, the construction of a new Cheonggye IC ramp (Suwon-bound), the connecting road between Hagui-ro and Anyang-Pangyo-ro, the construction of the Future Education Center, Bugok Community Center, and Cultural Arts Center, as well as the stabilization work for a landslide-prone steep slope in the Gocheon District.

Council members received briefings from officials and urged them to resolve construction delays, prevent safety accidents, and ensure the proper execution of the budget.

The Uiwang City Council’s first regular session will be held for 23 days, from October 14 to November 5, featuring an administrative audit, questions regarding municipal administration, and briefings on major operational plans.
