경기도의회 보건복지위원회 최경순 의원이 9월 30일 도의회 중회의실에서 ‘경기도 지역사회 계속거주(AIP)와 통합돌봄의 실질적 추진을 위한 정책토론회’를 열고 주거와 돌봄을 연계한 정책 방안을 논의했다.

토론회에서는 고령이나 건강 악화 이후에도 익숙한 지역에서 생활할 수 있도록 주거·보건의료·요양·복지서비스를 연계하고, 도시정비와 공공개발 과정에 돌봄 공간과 서비스를 반영하는 방안이 제시됐다.

이계삼 안양시 부시장은 ‘경기 안양 AIP 프로젝트’를 주제로 평촌신도시 정비와 돌봄 공간·서비스를 연계하는 방안을 소개했다. 유병선 경기복지재단 연구위원은 생활권별 돌봄 취약도 점검과 기존 시설의 돌봄 거점 활용, 공공 재개발·재건축을 통한 재원 확보를 제안했다.

하경환 만안종합사회복지관장은 생활권 단위의 돌봄 공간 확보와 지속 가능한 운영체계의 필요성을 강조했으며, 경기도 주택·복지정책 담당자들은 지역사회 계속거주를 위한 생활권 돌봄서비스 연계와 부서 간 협업 방안을 설명했다.

최경순 의원은 “주거와 돌봄의 통합이 실질적인 변화를 가져오려면 경기도의 정책 의지와 안정적인 예산 투입이 필요하다”며 “토론회에서 제시된 의견을 바탕으로 경기도와 시·군이 함께 실행할 수 있는 정책방안을 의정활동에 반영하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On September 30, Assemblymember Choi Gyeong-sun of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly’s Health and Welfare Committee hosted a policy forum titled "Practical Implementation of Aging in Place (AIP) and Integrated Care in Gyeonggi Province" in the assembly's medium conference room. The event focused on discussing policy measures that link housing with care services.

Participants proposed strategies to integrate housing, healthcare, nursing, and welfare services, enabling elderly residents or those with declining health to continue living in their familiar communities. They also discussed incorporating care spaces and services into urban renewal and public development projects.

Lee Gye-sam, Deputy Mayor of Anyang City, presented the "Anyang AIP Project," outlining plans to link the redevelopment of Pyeongchon New Town with the provision of care spaces and services. Assemblymember Choi Gyeong-sun stated, "For the integration of housing and care to bring about tangible change, Gyeonggi Province needs strong policy commitment and stable budget allocation." She added, "I will incorporate the ideas presented at this forum into my legislative activities to develop policy measures that Gyeonggi Province and its cities and counties can implement together."
