의왕도시공사 평생학습관 수영장이 지난 13일부터 제한적으로 운영되고 있다.

이번 운영은 정부의 사회적 거리두기가 1단계로 완화됨에 따라 지역주민의 건강증진과 건전한 여가활동을 지원하기 위해 시행됐다.

평생학습관 수영장은 사전예약 접수로 매일 5타임(레인 당 5명씩 4레인)을 자유수영으로 운영하고 있으며, 이용고객의 안전을 최우선으로 고려하여 입장 시 열화상 카메라 열체크, 방문록 작성, 손소독제를 상시 비치하고 각 타임 이용 후 2시간에 걸쳐 철저히 방역과 환기를 실시하고 있다.

해당 시설은 지난 18일 경기도에서 실시한 코로나19 방역지침 준수 주말 특별 점검에서 방역수칙을 전반적으로 철저하게 이행하고 있다는 평가를 받았다.
