Six cases, including Wontongjeon of Chiljangsa Temple in Anyang, portrait of Yun Seung-gil and Bong-bong of Ham, Yongin Parent Eunjunggyeong, Yangpyeong Sangsansa Temple Dongjong, Myobeop Lotus Sutra, and Yongin Myobeop Lotus Sutra Volumes 5-7 were designated as Gyeonggi Munjae Fires on the 26th of last month.

On the 5th, Gyeonggi Province held a Gyeonggi Cultural Heritage Committee meeting on the 26th of last month and announced that it had designated six buildings as Gyeonggi-do cultural assets, including the ‘Anseong Chiljangsa Wontongjeon (Gwaneumjeon)’, a building showing the faith of Gwaneum, which received great support from the people of the Joseon Dynasty.

Anseong Chiljangsa Wontongjeon is a Buddhist temple (a building that enshrines the main deity or bodhisattva in the temple) that has maintained its appearance in the first half of the 18th century in good condition and shows the faith of Gwaneum, which was greatly supported by the people of the Joseon Dynasty. The designation value was recognized for the fact that the interior space was made in the form of a Buddhist hall, which is not much left in Gyeonggi-do, that is, a room or floor with a flat ceiling, and a different dancheong pattern was put in each compartment of the banja.

The portrait of Yun Seung-gil and the bulk of the ship were preserved intact as a box and pedestal for storing the portrait and portrait of Yun Seung-gil, a 'drowning public god (who contributed to the treason of Imhae-gun)' that Gwanghae-gun rebuked in 1612. It is a rare portrait that remains even in a situation where most of the drowning officials are excommunicated due to artificial rebellion. Typical of the portraits of Gongsin in the first half of the 17th century, such as the depiction of an osamo (official hat), the shading of clothes and geometric patterns, the contours and wrinkles of the face drawn with light brown lines, and the double contrast method that emphasizes the height of the face by applying shading to dark or light areas. It is a work that shows the form.

The Yongin Parent Eunjunggyeong (a Buddhist scripture taught to repay one's parents' grace) is a woodblock print published in 1591 (the 24th year of King Seonjo) based on the version published by the royal family (Myeongbin Kim's version). It is currently in the collection of the Yongin City Museum. Compared to other editions, the drawings are larger and more detailed than the main text, and many backgrounds and decorative patterns have been added.

In particular, the collection of the Yongin City Museum was highly praised for being a woodblock before the Imjin War and for being a rare edition that is hard to find among the existing 'Parent Eunjunggyeong' as a Buddhist book published at Hwaeom Cave in Gwanggyosan Mountain in Yongin.

Yangpyeong Sangwonsa Temple's Dongjong Bell is a bell that shows a mixed style of Korea and Japan (bells played to inform the time of day). The aesthetic sense of the Korean bell stands out. work. The exchange and influence of Korean artisans with Japan can be estimated in terms of the method of making the bell.

Myobeop Lotus Sutra (Vol. 1~7) is presumed to have printed the Myobeop Lotus Sutra, a Buddhist scripture from the 16th to 17th centuries. The paper quality and printing condition are even, and the preservation condition is good. Due to the rarity of being a complete wanjil book and the remaining two types of Byeonsangdo (pictures that visually format the contents of Buddhist scriptures), it was evaluated as having high value for use in history, academics, and Buddhist art.

Yongin Myobeop Lotus Sutra Volumes 5-7 are three volumes and one book, and although they are not complete, they have the value of designated cultural properties in that they were signed at Seobongsa in Yongin-si, where there are not many editions handed down.
