ride a bike and run over essays
Jung Eun-kyung's first essay book 'Going Together' is out
Essayist Jeong Eun-kyung, who debuted in the winter issue of literature in 2018, has released her first collection of essays, ‘Going Together’. In this collection of essays, which included 39 episodes, including her debut novel 'Ignore Gum', essayist Jeong Eun-kyung said, “The love she received is more than what she has given. She planted a small church on her way to Samo, and sometimes the hard work was thrown away. Even if the road seems to be broken, if it turns around, a road is formed. I'm not alone, I have a neighbor I'm grateful for, so I take out a debt of love like a pearl and weave it."
Poet Jun-seok Bae (weekly after literature) commented, “Externally, there is no blockage in Jeong Eun-kyung’s exhilarating bike trip. It doesn't block stuffy stuff, ask questions, get tired, and don't go astray. The same is true of the writing world. It is also refreshing to see them practice love with the grace of God in them,” he said. He also said, “Internally, I understand the essence of securing a distance from a literary object and use it well for my creative activities. Jung Eun-kyung shows the beauty of stepping back and maintaining an appropriate distance in her essays.”
Essayist Jeong Eun-kyung, who currently serves as the president of the Seongpo Literature Society, completed her master's degree in Korean Language and Literature at Kookmin University's Graduate School. She is currently active as a member of the post-literature editorial board, and later as a member of the Writers' Club, the Visitor Writers' Association, and the Korean Literature Exploration Society.
