Gyeonggi Province will receive additional applications for ‘Gyeonggi University Student Loan Interest Support’ in the second half of 2022 for a week from the 20th to the 26th.

Gyeonggi Province used the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Reception Center (https://apply.gg.go.kr) until the first half of this year. .gg.go.kr/) is used.

According to Gyeonggi-do, there were cases of applicants who did not receive the final application due to confusion due to the change in the application method, and it was decided to proceed with additional applications as an exception for applicants who did not properly submit their application even though they applied within the application period.

Eligible applicants are university/graduate students, including students on leave of absence, and unemployed graduates. The applicant or one of his or her lineal descendants must reside in Gyeonggi-do for at least one year based on resident registration. Graduates must graduate within 10 years of graduating from university and within 4 years of graduating from graduate school.

Applications can be made on the Gyeonggi Minwon 24 website (https://gg24.gg.go.kr) and can also be applied through mobile devices such as smartphones. The announcement of the results of the second half of this year and the payment of interest are scheduled for December, and you can check the application status on the website of the Korea Scholarship Foundation (www.kosaf.go.kr).

Once selected, the Gyeonggi Province will pay interest accrued in the first half of this year (January to June) on the tuition and living expenses borrowed from the Korea Scholarship Foundation after the second semester of 2010. Payment is made by deducting the principal and interest of the loan account.

Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province has provided 18,509 students with 1.83 billion won through the ‘Gyeonggi University Student Loan Interest Support’ project until the first half of this year, and 20.2 billion won from 2010 to the first half of this year.
