경기도, 11개 시와 미래차 산업 육성 산·학·연 협업체계 구축 나서

경기도가 도내 주요 자동차 부품기업 집적지와 판교테크노밸리를 연계한 K-미래차 밸리를 조성하기 위해 시·군과 산·학·연 전문가 간 협업체계 구축에 나섰다.

 

경기도는 지난 9월 20일 시흥시 한국자동차연구원 경기본부에서 K-미래차 밸리 혁신 전담조직(TF) 첫 회의를 개최했다. 이 자리에는 관련분야 전문가인 서울대 시흥캠퍼스 김규홍 본부장, 아주대 윤일수 교수, 현대차 이영재 미래항공모빌리티(AAM) 책임연구원 등이 참석했다. 경기도경제과학진흥원, 경기연구원, 경기테크노파크, 차세대융합기술연구원 등 경기도 산하기관과 수원·성남·화성·부천·남양주·안산·평택·안양·시흥·광명·과천시 등 미래차 사업을 추진하고 있는 11개 시도 함께했다.

 

경기도는 안산, 광명, 화성, 시흥 등 도내 서남부권 자동차 부품기업 집적지와 성남 판교테크노밸리 중심의 자율주행 기술기업 집적지를 연계한 미래차 밸리 혁신 생태계를 구축할 계획이다. 이를 통해 지역 간 요소기술 융합과 제조 과정 혁신으로 미래차 제조기업 거점을 확보하고 자율주행 기술개발 실증의 산업혁신 기반을 선점하겠다는 목표다.

 

첫 회의에서는 한국자동차연구원 유영호 모빌리티산업정책실장이 자동차 산업의 동향과 중앙부처 기조, 미래차 산업의 발전방안 등에 대해 발표했다. 이어 각 시에서 중점적으로 추진하고 있는 사업을 공유하고 실무상 애로사항과 규제개선 등 건의 사항을 논의했다.

K-미래차 밸리 혁신 전담조직(TF)은 첫 회의를 시작으로 경기도의 미래차 산업 육성을 위한 기본방향을 공유하며, 미래차 밸리 혁신 생태계 조성과 거점 육성을 위한 추진방안 등 경기도 내에 밀집돼 있는 미래차 산업의 혁신과 발전을 위해 공동으로 노력할 방침이다.

 

김규식 경기도 미래성장정책관은 “이번 회의는 ‘미래차, 반도체, 바이오산업 육성’을 민선8기 핵심공약으로 내세운 경기도가 미래차 관련 산업을 육성하기 위한 첫걸음”이라며, “앞으로도 정기적인 K-미래차 밸리 혁신 전담조직(TF) 회의를 통해 경기도의 비전과 중장기 전략을 수립하고 실사구시적인 실행전략(Action Plan)을 발굴해 미래차 관련 혁신 생태계구축을 선도하겠다”고 말했다.

Gyeonggi Province held the first meeting of the K-Future Vehicle Valley Innovation Task Force (TF) at the Gyeonggi Headquarters of the Korea Automobile Research Institute in Siheung City on September 20. The event was attended by experts in related fields, including Gyu-Hong Kim, Head of the Siheung Campus of Seoul National University, Il-Soo Yoon, Professor of Ajou University, and Young-Jae Lee, Senior Researcher of Future Air Mobility (AAM) at Hyundai Motor Company. Starting with the first meeting, the K-Future Car Valley Innovation Task Force (TF) shares the basic directions for nurturing the future car industry in Gyeonggi-do. We plan to make joint efforts for innovation and development of the future car industry.

 

 Gyeonggi-do Future Growth Policy Officer Kim Gyu-sik said, “This meeting is the first step toward nurturing future car-related industries in Gyeonggi-do, which has put forward ‘nurturing the future car, semiconductor, and bio industries’ as the core pledge of the eighth popular election. Through the Tea Valley Innovation Task Force (TF) meeting, we will establish Gyeonggi-do’s vision and mid- to long-term strategy and lead the construction of an innovative ecosystem related to future cars by discovering action plans that are practical and practical.”
