경기도가 K-미래차 밸리 조성을 위한 정책과제 발굴을 위해 전문가 토론회를 개최했다. 경기도는 지난 11월 18일 오후 차세대융합기술원 컨퍼런스룸에서 도내 주요 자동차 부품기업 집적지와 판교테크노밸리를 연계해 K-미래차 밸리 조성을 통해 미래차 전환 우수 먹거리정책과제 발굴을 모색하는 토론회를 개최했다.

경기도 주관, 차세대융합기술연구원 경기도자율주행센터 주최로 열린 이번 토론회에서는 K-미래차 혁신생태계 조성 정책방향과 대응 전략 수립 등을 논의했다.

토론회에서는 한국전자통신 연구원 최정단 본부장을 좌장으로 한국자동차연구원 이항구 연구위원이 ‘경기도 미래차 전환의 현재’를 주제로 기조 발표,, 안산 소재 자동차부품기업 남양넥스모 이강원 부사장이 ‘중소·중견기업의 미래차 전환 대응전략’을 주제로 기업 현장 경험을 기반으로 한 내연기관차 전환 성공사례 소개, 현대자동차 자율주행사업부가 ‘경기도 자율주행 실증의 현재와 미래’를 주제 발표를 했다.

주제 발표 이후 미래차 관련 업무를 추진하는 시군과 발표자, 경기도 K-미래차 전담조직(TF) 전문가가 질의응답 방식으로 경기도 미래차 대응과 정책 과제발굴 등 미래 먹거리 생산에 대한 아이디어를 교류했다.

경기도는 성남·화성·안산·시흥 등 미래차 사업을 추진하고 있는 시군과 함께 K-미래차밸리 조성을 위한 경기도형 미래차 거버넌스를 구축하고 있다. 부천-광명-시흥-안산(거점)-화성-평택 등 도내 서남부권 자동차 부품기업 집적지를 중심으로 한 서해안 부품산업(전동화)벨트와 성남 판교테크노밸리(허브)-화성–시흥-안양-김포 등 남부권 자율주행 기술기업 집적지를 연계한 미래차 밸리 혁신생태계를 구축할 계획이다. 이를 통해 미래차 제조기업 거점을 확보하고 자율주행 기술개발 실증의 산업혁신 기반 선점을 목표로 하고 있다.

이번 정책토론회에서 발굴된 과제 등 건의 및 토론내용은 스마트모빌리티 정책연구사업에 반영할 계획이다.

류광열 경기도 경제실장은 “이번 토론회는 ‘미래차, 반도체, 바이오산업 육성’을 민선8기 핵심공약으로 내세운 경기도와 시군, 전문가가 미래차 관련 산업을 육성하기 위해 머리를 맞댄다는 점에서 의미가 있다”며 “경기도 부품기업의 미래차 전환과 소재부품 강소기업 육성에 주력해 미래차 관련 혁신생태계를 구축·선도하겠다”고 말했다.

Gyeonggi-do is establishing Gyeonggi-do-type future car governance to create a K-Mirae Car Valley along with cities and counties that are promoting future car projects, such as Seongnam, Hwaseong, Ansan, and Siheung. Bucheon-Gwangmyeong-Siheung-Ansan (base)-Hwaseong-Pyeongtaek, etc. West Coast parts industry (electronization) belt centered on the automobile parts industry cluster in the southwestern part of the province and Seongnam Pangyo Techno Valley (hub)-Hwaseong-Siheung-Anyang-Gimpo, etc. It plans to establish an innovative ecosystem for future car valleys by linking the clusters of self-driving technology companies in the southern region.
