경기도교육청, 초등학생 교육 지원 ‘유연한 교육과정 설계’ 장학자료 개발·보급
안정적 정착 위해 초등교원 전체, 교감 등 각 정책 단위 역량 강화 연수 실시

경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 초등학교를 위한 ‘의미 있는 학습경험 다양화로 유연한 교육과정 설계하기’ 장학자료를 개발해 보급하고 있다.

 

‘유연한 교육과정’은 학습자가 다양한 학습경험을 끊임없이 통합하는 과정을 통해 교육적으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 교육과정이다.

도교육청은 ‘유연한 교육과정 설계하기’ 자료를 지난 9월 6일 일선학교에 배포 하고, 각종 연수를 11월까지 진행할 예정이다.

 

이번 장학자료는 학생과 교사가 주체적으로 참여하여 함께 만들어가는 유연한 교육과정 편성·운영을 돕는다는 점에서 의미가 크다. 여기에 학교 교육과정 자율권을 확대하고 학교구성원들이 창의적으로 교육과정을 설계할 수 있도록 워크시트도 함께 개발했다.

 

경기도교육청은 유연한 교육과정 설계의 안정적 정착을 위해 9월 27일부터 11월 중순까지 △교육청 내 교육과정 정책추진단, △학교 자율과정 실천학교 68개교, 구너역별 정책추진단 38명, 교사교육과정 탐구공동체 29개팀, △교감네트워크 62명을 대상으로 연수를 실시할 예정이다. 또한 경기도 내 전체 초등교원을 대상으로 10월 6일 온라인으로 ‘유연한 교육과정 설계하기 유튜브 스트리밍 연수’를 실시할 예정이다.

 

경기도교육청 김신영 학교교육과정과장은 “유연한 교육과정은 학생이 주체적으로 삶의 역량을 기를 수 있도록 학생의 학습 선택권을 확대하고, 학습경험의 질과 폭을 심화하는 것이다. 이러한 교육과정의 정착을 위해 초등학교 교육과정 자율권 확대를 위해 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
