의왕시가 19세 청년(2005년 출생자)을 대상으로 공연‧전시 등의 관람에 사용할 수 있는 ‘청년문화예술패스’를 지원한다고 지난 3월 27일 밝혔다.

의왕시가 올해 처음 시행하는 ‘청년문화예술패스’는 소득수준에 관계없이 19세 청년이라면 누구나 신청할 수 있으며, 1인당 15만 원의 혜택이 주어지며, 3월 28일 오전 10시부터 예산 소진 시까지 선착순으로 지급된다.

‘청년문화예술패스’를 통해 관람할 수 있는 콘텐츠는 순수예술 분야의 연극, 뮤지컬, 클래식, 오페라, 발레, 무용, 국악 등 공연과 전시이며, 대중가수 콘서트나 페스티벌, 강연 등은 제외된다.

‘청년문화예술패스’는 협력예매처인 인터파크와 예스24 중 한 곳을 선택해 각 홈페이지에서 이용 신청이 가능하다. 15만 원의 혜택 중 국비 지원분에 해당하는 10만 원은 포인트 또는 상품권으로 바로 지급받고, 5만 원은 올해 상반기 추가 예산이 확보된 후에 지급받을 수 있다.
