안양시가 봄나들이 명소 안양천 일대에 히아신스, 왕수선화, 튤립 등 다양한 봄꽃을 식재했다고 지난 3월 28일 밝혔다.

안양시는 충훈부 벚꽃길 주변에 팬지, 금잔화, 수선화, 히아신스 등으로 꽃밭을 구성해 안양천을 방문한 시민들에게 볼거리와 향기를 동시에 선사하고 있다. 안양시는 안양시민 모두 비상하기를 바라는 염원을 담아 충훈부 농구장 주변에는 청룡 모양의 화단을 식재했다.

안양천과 학의천이 만나는 안양 비산동의 쌍개울문화광장 주변에 지난 가을 심은 튤립은 추운 겨울을 이겨내고 알록달록한 꽃을 피우기 시작해, 따뜻한 볕을 즐기며 산책하는 시민들의 눈길을 끌고 있다.

안양시는 안양천과 학의천 산책로 주변에 봄부터 가을까지 피고 지는 야생화들이 자연스러운 경관을 조성할 수 있도록 야생화 꽃씨를 파종하고 물억새 등 초화류를 식재해 계절의 변화와 함께 다채로운 경관을 선보일 예정이다.

최대호 안양시장은 “충훈동 벚꽃축제를 방문하시는 분들이 하천 주변 아름답게 조성된 꽃밭을 거닐며 여유로운 시간을 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.
