이어서 “그런데도 윤석열 대통령의 지난 16일 국무회의 발언은 눈과 귀를 의심할 정도로 충격적이었다”며, “윤석열 정권은 지금까지 해왔던 대로, 앞으로도 하겠다는 예고편 같았다”며 꼬집었다.
강득구 의원은 “채상병 특검이 윤석열 정권의 마지막 기회”라며, “무고한 장병의 사망사건과 관련해 수사 외압이 있었는지 철저하게 규명해야 한다”고 강조했다.
강 의원은 “국민들은 이번 총선에서 대통령 탄핵에 근접한 의석을 야당에게 주셨다”며, “박근혜 대통령 탄핵을 돌이켜보면 역사를 두려워하는 여당이 야당과 함께해 결국 탄핵했다”고 말했다.
