군포시의회가 지난 4월 30일 의정모니터단 활성화에 앞장선 시민 3명에게 표창을 수여했다.

군포시의회 이길호 의장은 이날 에 앞서 단원들과 간담회를 갖고, 박상현‧유혜엽‧김기환 단원에게 표창장을 수여했다.

이날 이길호 의장은 2023년 3월 출범한 제2기 의정모니터단이 그동안 활동한 경과를 듣고, 단원들이 활동하며 생각한 의회 발전 및 의원 의정활동 강화 방안 등을 청취했다.

이길호 의장은 “현 의정모니터단은 제267회부터 제273회까지, 5번의 임시회와 2번의 정례회를 직접 참관하거나 의회 누리집 생방송 등으로 회의를 보며 의회 발전을 위한 여러 의견을 냈다”며, “시민이 보는 의회를 알고, 개선 방향을 생각할 수 있어 감사했다”고 말했다.

군포시의회에 의하면 공개 공모와 추첨 절차로 선발돼 2023년 3월 출범한 제2기 군포시의회 의정모니터단은 2025년 3월 초까지 활동할 예정이다.
