군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 성정현)이 5월 11일 군포의왕교육지원청 청백리홀에서 군포의왕청소년교육의회 개회식과 함께 활동을 시작했다.

군포의왕청소년교육의회는 민주 시민 역량 및 리더십 함양과 자율과 책임에 기초한 청소년의 사회참여활동 활성화를 위해 군포의왕 지역 초·중·고에 재학 중인 학생 31명으로 구성, 의장과 부의장 선거를 거쳐 의장단을 선출하고, 학생자치, 인성, 문화예술, 교육 등의 상임위원회를 구성, 22시간 동안 운영된다.

군포의왕청소년교육의회는 △학교 및 지역사회 문제점 탐색 △인성교육 활성화를 위한 협의 △상임위별 사회참여 프로젝트 운영 △주민참여예산제 의견 제안 △정잭 제안서 작성 및 발표 등의 활동을 실행할 예정이다.
