과천시가 60세 이상 시민을 대상으로 오는 7월까지 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 ‘경기 AI 간편 치매 체크 서비스’를 제공한다고 지난달 31일 밝혔다. 예산 소진 시는 조기 마감할 수 있다.

‘경기 AI 간편 치매 체크 서비스’는 스마트폰이나, 태블릿PC, 전화 등을 사용해 인공지능(AI)과 1분간 말하기를 통해 치매 위험도를 확인한다.

검사에는 3분 이내의 시간이 소요된다. 검사 후 AI가 결과를 분석해 정상군이면 치매예방수칙을 안내하고, 위험군이면 가까운 치매안심센터를 방문해 선별검사(CIST)를 받을 수 있도록 안내한다. 필요한 경우 치매안심센터로 전화 연결도 가능하다.

이용 방법은 치매안심센터를 직접 방문하지 않고 전화(1668-4157)를 걸거나, 별도의 앱 설치없이 스마트폰이나 태블릿PC를 사용해 과천시 보건소 누리집(gccity.go.kr/ghc)에 게재된 게시물 등의 홍보물의 큐알(QR)코드를 통해 간편하게 검사할 수 있다. 검사대상자 본인의 스마트폰이 아니더라도 검사가 가능하다.

오상근 과천시 보건소장은 “시민들이 AI 간편 치매 체크 무료서비스를 통해 치매 위험도를 확인하고 치매 예방에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 전했다.
