안양시청소년재단(이사장 최대호) 산하 만안청소년수련관(관장 박영미)이 팔도자매도시 청소년 교류 캠프를 개최, 지난 6월 14일부터 16일까지 자매도시 하동군을 방문하는 프로그램을 진행했다.

이번 캠프는 △화개장터 미션게임, △지리산생태과학관 체험, △동정호 관람, △제첩 축제 체험, △케이블카 체험 등 계절에 걸맞은 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성됐다.

안양시 팔도자매도시 청소년 교류 캠프는 자매도시인 안양시와 하동군 간의 청소년들의 교류 활동으로 견문을 높이고 도·농간 이해도를 향상 시키고자 기획돼 매년 운영되고 있는 사업이다.

박영미 만안청소년수련관장은 “하동군과의 교류활동을 통해 두 지역 청소년 간 상호 이해를 바탕으로 우애를 도모하는 계기가 됐다”며, “앞으로도 청소년들에게 양질의 청소년 문화교류 활동을 통해 양 도시 간 청소년의 건강한 성장을 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

오는 7월에는 하동군 청소년들이 안양을 방문해 안양시 곳곳을 방문하며 안양시 청소년들과 교류활동을 이어갈 예정이다.
